Just got back from Stacey's baby shower (Kevin went
to the casino while I was there).
Stacey's huge! She's due on Christmas Eve, but she's
doing great :) Can't wait to meet Little Miss Perleberg!

Character Zero at Best Buy

Kevin's band Character Zero played a "gig" at Best Buy again for their
Halloween employee party.

Unfortunately, it was really cold and windy that night, and there
weren't a lot of people (aside from the band) in costume. The band
members' costumes were hilarious though.

(L-R) Travis in a furry suit, Kevin with a lot of hair, Steve
with an afro! Chad was Jake from the Blues Brothers

Sorry for the video quality. it was SO windy!

Halloween & Murder Mystery Party

Last Saturday, Kevin and I had some friends over to play our
Murder Mystery Dinner Party game. It was pretty fun. It was
great to see our friends actually come through with their costumes!

Mel was a 1985 TV Star. Kevin was a Hollywood writer. Chad was
a businessman on vacation. Nick Dale was a computer genius.
Flo was a soccer mom. Lisa was an old woman (haha). Alex was a
fisherman, and his wife Laura was a neurosurgeon!

On Halloween, Kevin and I dressed up as Uma Thurman and John
Travolta from Pulp Fiction (Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega) and went
out with some friends. We also had our annual tradition of pumpkin
carving (Kevin's are the detailed ones) and dressing the dogs up!

Kevin's "Hollywood hair" was actually Chad's real hairstyle :)

Puppies Galore

A few weekends ago, we had a Humbard

Puppy fest! It was a blast and entertaining,

as usual. Kevin grilled hamburgers and

corn on the cob. We couldn’t have asked

for a better day!

Hoosiers Outrun Cancer

At the beginning of October, I participated in Bloomington's
Hoosiers Outrun Cancer. It was a great day and a
great cause. It was moving to see so many survivors and
families and friends of lost loved ones supporting it!
Overall, there were over 5,000 participants in the different
events. Two friends of mine from work, Amanda and Kara,
and I did the 5k walk. Here are a couple of photos from the
day. Look at how many people there were!!

Kitchen flooring

On Friday, Kevin decided it was time to replace the old
kitchen flooring. So we headed to Lowe's, used the last
of our wedding gift card, and bought some new linoleum.

Kevin did almost 100% of the work. I tried to help, but
the dogs REFUSE to leave me alone if I sit on the floor...
so basically, I was just in the way...
BUT Kevin did a GREAT job and it's a big improvement!

-Here's the kitchen when we moved in... Flooring was kind of

worn down and pretty plain.

Wrigley and Piper show off the new flooring.
